Get to Know Me

My name is Danny Hill. I'm 18 years old and I'm a freshman at Finlandia University. I'm a business administration major and I hope to get my bachelor's degree and continue my education to obtain a master's degree. My sports interests include: hockey, football (college or pro), baseball, and golf. College football is the most interesting to me because it's so exciting to watch. If it's a close game, you never know what could happen. The same goes for hockey, but the atmosphere of a college football game is like no other. That's why I've chosen to blog about it. I think it's pretty amazing how we have two college football teams in our community, so there's always so much football to watch every weekend and that's part of the reason why I'm so interested in it.

I've lived in the Copper Country my whole life. I like being outdoors, especially in the winter time. I enjoy snowmobiling on the fresh trails of the Upper Peninsula and I like to go skating and play pond hockey. What I like best about the Copper Country is how diverse it is. Summer can be so nice - hot, sunny, so being on/around the water is perfect. The winter however, is so cold and snowy so its fun to do activities like hockey and snowmobiling.

I love it up here. It's not too big so you don't have to worry about too many people, too much traffic, or too many crazy people that the big cities have; it's not too small to where everyone knows everyone and there isn't anything to do. It's the perfect mix of the adventurous lifestyle with all the things to do outside and the small city life with all of the sports, restaurants, and things to do and see around town.
